ManholeMetrics Expands Monitoring in Toronto

We’re excited to announce our first Canadian deployment with Toronto Water, supporting stormwater monitoring across key infrastructure assets throughout Toronto.

Our wastewater and stormwater level sensors are now active across outfalls, inlets, and other critical locations, helping operators identify potential flood risks earlier while improving oversight of infrastructure performance and maintenance needs.

Integrated with the ManholeMetrics Porthole platform, the deployment provides continuous level monitoring and predictive alerts to support faster response during changing weather and flow conditions. The rapid-install sensors also allow scalable deployment across distributed infrastructure assets with minimal installation complexity.

Toronto Water serves more than 3.6 million people across the Greater Toronto Area and manages approximately 6,500 miles of sanitary, storm, and combined sewer infrastructure. As municipalities continue investing in flood prevention and infrastructure resilience, scalable sewer and stormwater monitoring solutions are becoming increasingly important for protecting communities and critical infrastructure.

A big thank you to the team at Toronto Water for their collaboration and support throughout the deployment process.
