ManholeMetrics Deploys in East Bay Municipal Utility District
ManholeMetrics has announced a new wastewater monitoring deployment with East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD), continuing the company’s expansion across California and the U.S. wastewater sector.
Serving more than 1.4 million people across the East Bay region, East Bay Municipal Utility District is one of California’s largest public utilities. As part of the deployment, ManholeMetrics wastewater level sensors have been installed on local wastewater assets to provide real-time monitoring of wastewater levels and network conditions.
Integrated with the ManholeMetrics Porthole platform, the deployment supports improved visibility into asset performance, helping utilities strengthen overflow management, support operational reliability, and improve long-term infrastructure planning.
The deployment also highlights the flexibility of the ManholeMetrics monitoring platform in active field environments. Sensors can be installed alongside existing equipment, including H2S monitoring systems, allowing utilities to expand wastewater network monitoring without disrupting current infrastructure or operational workflows.
ManholeMetrics supports utilities across stormwater, sanitary, and combined sewer networks with scalable real-time monitoring and predictive alerting solutions designed to help identify flood risk, sewer backups, and inflow and infiltration (I&I) events.
ManholeMetrics would like to thank the team at East Bay Municipal Utility District for their collaboration and support throughout the deployment.
