ManholeMetrics Deploys with Network Rail

We’re excited to announce our first rail infrastructure deployment with Network Rail in Belmont and Newton Aycliffe, supporting proactive flood and wastewater monitoring across rail-adjacent infrastructure assets.

Using ManholeMetrics wastewater and stormwater level sensors, real-time alerts, and the Porthole analytics platform, the deployment helps infrastructure operators identify potential flood risks earlier and respond before issues escalate into service disruptions or costly asset damage.

The UK rail network spans more than 9,900 miles, making reliable flood monitoring and stormwater management increasingly important as extreme weather events continue to impact transportation infrastructure across the country.
