ManholeMetrics Expands Monitoring in Napa CA
We’re excited to announce a new wastewater monitoring deployment with Napa Sanitation District (NapaSan) in Napa, California.
Our wastewater level sensors are now active across key locations throughout the network, supporting proactive wastewater monitoring and helping operators better understand how the system responds during storm events. This deployment also marks the first field deployment of ManholeMetrics’ new radar monitoring units, providing higher-resolution data and improved performance in challenging conditions.
The deployment is focused on detecting rain-induced inflow and infiltration (I&I), giving the Napa Sanitation District team real-time insight into changing network conditions during wet weather events. The data will help operators identify potential capacity constraints earlier, better understand root causes of surcharging, and respond proactively before assets reach critical thresholds.
By building a clearer system-wide picture of wastewater network performance, the deployment supports more informed operational and infrastructure planning decisions across the region.
A big thank you to everyone at Napa Sanitation District for their collaboration and support throughout the deployment.
