New Wastewater Monitoring Deployment in Little Rock AR

We’re excited to announce a new wastewater monitoring deployment with Little Rock Water Reclamation Authority (LRWRA), expanding radar level sensor coverage across multiple areas of Little Rock’s wastewater network.

The deployment builds on LRWRA’s existing monitoring infrastructure, with a focus on historic overflow locations as well as remote and difficult-to-access sites that previously had limited visibility. These locations are now equipped with continuous wastewater monitoring capabilities to help operators better understand network performance in both dry and wet weather conditions.

By supplementing manual inspections and existing data sources, the deployment provides earlier visibility into potential sewer system issues and supports more proactive operational response. The sensors also provide valuable data for ongoing inflow and infiltration (I&I) reduction initiatives, helping identify recurring patterns and problem areas across the network.

Located along the Arkansas River, Little Rock faces ongoing challenges related to water management and infrastructure resilience, making real-time wastewater monitoring increasingly important for long-term system planning and overflow prevention efforts.
