NapaSan Deployment
ManholeMetrics goes live in Wine Country 🍇🇺🇸
We’re excited to share our latest U.S. deployment with Napa Sanitation District (NapaSan) in Napa, California!
Our level sensors are now active across key locations, supporting proactive wastewater monitoring in one of California’s most iconic regions. This marks our first field deployment using ManholeMetrics’ brand-new radar units, delivering higher-resolution insights and improved performance in challenging conditions.
This deployment is focused on detecting rain-induced inflow and infiltration (I&I), giving the team real-time visibility into how the system responds during storm events. With this data, NapaSan can pinpoint root causes, identify capacity constraints early, and respond proactively before assets reach critical thresholds.
While residents and visitors enjoy wine tasting in the sunshine above, our sensors are quietly building a clear, system-wide view of network performance below, helping protect infrastructure and support smarter operational decisions beneath Napa’s vineyards and communities.
A huge thank you to every one from Napa Sanitation District for their collaboration and support throughout this successful deployment. It’s been a pleasure working together to bring this project to life.
We’re proud to continue expanding across the U.S. and supporting utilities like NapaSan with data-driven tools for proactive, smart wastewater management.
