Supporting Reliable Wastewater Operations with OMMS in Texas

We're proud to announce a new deployment with Operations & Maintenance Management Services Company, LLC (OMMS) in the San Antonio area of Texas, supporting wastewater monitoring across multiple utility facilities.

OMMS operates and maintains dozens of water and wastewater systems across the region. Through this deployment, ManholeMetrics sensors have been installed at treatment facilities serving Forest Glen Utility, Spanish Trail Utility, Windy Hill Utility, Camino Real Utility, and Plum Creek Utility.

The sensors are being used as a secondary, fail-safe high-water alarm system, providing an additional layer of protection alongside existing SCADA and CCTV systems. By delivering independent, real-time wastewater level alerts, the technology can help operations teams identify rising water levels earlier and respond before potential issues escalate.

This additional monitoring provides greater visibility and redundancy across the facilities, complementing existing infrastructure and supporting more proactive wastewater management.

The deployment was made possible through our partnership with High Tide Technologies and Hydro Source Services, our regional distributor and field services partner. Their local expertise and support were instrumental in coordinating and completing the installations.

A big thank you to the teams at OMMS, High Tide Technologies, and Hydro Source Services for their collaboration and support throughout the project.

This deployment forms part of ManholeMetrics' continued expansion across Texas, helping utilities strengthen their monitoring capabilities with accessible, scalable wastewater level monitoring technology.
