ManholeMetrics Expands into Charlotte, North Carolina
We're proud to announce a new deployment with Charlotte Water in the City of Charlotte, North Carolina, supporting wastewater network monitoring across one of the fastest-growing major cities in the United States.
The deployment focuses on locations where sewer spills and inflow and infiltration (I&I) are key concerns. Our sensors will provide continuous, real-time wastewater level data to help Charlotte Water better understand changing network conditions, identify potential issues earlier, and support more proactive wastewater management.
Our technology is also being evaluated alongside existing monitoring equipment, allowing the utility to compare performance and assess how scalable, real-time level monitoring can complement its current systems.
By increasing visibility across the wastewater network, the deployment will support earlier identification of abnormal conditions, provide valuable insights into I&I during wet weather, and help inform operational decision-making and future infrastructure planning.
This deployment forms part of ManholeMetrics' continued expansion across North Carolina, helping utilities improve visibility across their collection systems with accessible, scalable wastewater monitoring technology.
A big thank you to the team at Charlotte Water for their collaboration and support in making this deployment possible.
