ManholeMetrics Deploys Sewer Monitoring Technology in Ceres, California

We’re proud to announce a new deployment with the City of Ceres, California, supporting wastewater monitoring at critical locations across the city’s sanitary sewer network.

The deployment focuses on manholes located near lift stations and other areas with a history of sanitary sewer overflows (SSOs). Our sensors will provide continuous, real-time level data to help the City identify rising levels earlier, better understand network conditions during periods of high flow, and respond more proactively to developing issues.

By increasing visibility at locations where backups have historically been more likely to occur, the City can build a clearer picture of how its wastewater network is performing over time. This additional data can support operational decision-making, help prioritize maintenance, and reduce the risk of future sewer overflow events.

The deployment forms part of ManholeMetrics’ continued expansion across California, helping utilities add scalable, long-term monitoring to critical wastewater assets and improve visibility across their collection systems.
