ManholeMetrics Expands Monitoring in Windsor, Ontario

We’re excited to announce a new wastewater and stormwater monitoring deployment in the City of Windsor, Ontario, Canada, supporting ongoing flow monitoring studies across the city’s sanitary and stormwater networks.

Working alongside the City of Windsor’s engineering team, we’ve deployed ManholeMetrics sensors across a range of critical infrastructure assets to help build a clearer picture of system performance under changing weather and usage conditions. The deployment provides real-time level data to support early identification of infiltration, surcharging, and other network issues across the wastewater network.

The City of Windsor serves approximately 230,000 residents across 57 square miles and manages nearly 1,000 miles of sanitary, stormwater, and combined sewer infrastructure. As municipalities continue investing in flood prevention and infrastructure resilience, scalable sewer and stormwater monitoring solutions are becoming increasingly important for proactive network management and long-term infrastructure planning.

A big thank you to the teams at the City of Windsor and Danruss Contractors for their support with installation and site operations throughout the deployment.
