New Wastewater Monitoring Deployment in Carthage MO
We’re excited to announce another successful deployment, this time with Carthage Water & Electric Plant (CWEP) in the City of Carthage, Missouri! Our level monitoring sensors are now helping provide greater visibility into wastewater network performance, supporting proactive decision-making and improved understanding of how the system responds during changing weather conditions.
This deployment focuses on two key objectives. First, several monitoring locations were selected in areas that have experienced historic sanitary sewer overflow (SSO) events, helping the team gain earlier visibility into network conditions to inform proactive responses and better understand the factors that contribute to these incidents. Secondly, additional locations were chosen to evaluate the performance of recently lined manholes and assess how these infrastructure improvements influence surcharge behavior during rainfall events.
Combining real-time monitoring with long-term data collection, our sensors will help the City of Carthage assess network performance, validate infrastructure investments, and identify opportunities for targeted interventions that improve system resilience.
A huge thank you to the fantastic team from CWEP involved in making this deployment a success. We’re proud to continue supporting utilities across North America with scalable wastewater monitoring solutions that help utilities move from reactive to proactive network management.
